About
Dr. David Impastato is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation with fellowship training in interventional spine. His areas of expertise include epidural steroid injections, facet injections, radiofrequency nerve ablation, joint injections, spinal cord stimulation, and electrodiagnostics.
Originally from New Orleans, his undergraduate studies kept him close to home, and he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biological science from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Next, Dr. Impastato earned his medical degree from LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Washington Medical Center and concluded his training with an interventional spine fellowship at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Impastato values providing all potential options, educating on potential outcomes as well as prevention, and actively involving patients in choosing the best personalized treatment plan. He takes a conservative approach to treatment while recommending nonsurgical interventions when appropriate to best tackle patients' symptoms.
Outside of seeing patients, he likes to spend time running, hiking, playing most sports, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife and two kids.
