Hand
As the premier orthopedic and neurosurgical providers for Vancouver, Portland, Lake Oswego, and the surrounding areas for over 50 years, Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery offers exceptional hand care from our fellowship-trained and board-certified hand doctors so you can rebound.
The hands are complex structures that require highly specialized care from an experienced doctor. Because the fingers and hands are so frequently used, pain in that area can compromise a patient's activity level and quality of life, whether it is due to a small injury or a serious hand condition. Patients should seek the advice of an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand and wrist pain. They will explain the injury or condition and the available treatment options and then work with the patient to determine the best recovery plan, personalized according to his or her needs and goals.

The Region's Most Preferred Hand & Wrist Care in Vancouver & Portland
At Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery, our doctors and staff put patients first and are dedicated to providing compassionate, quality orthopedic care. As the region's most preferred orthopedic practice, we are proud to be the official sports medicine providers for the Portland Trail Blazers and continuously strive for excellence.
Our fellowship-trained and board-certified doctors, Dr. James Chesnutt, Dr. Edward Coale, Dr. Benjamin Jacobs, Dr. Douglas Musgrave, and Dr. Kirk Wong, have the skill and expertise to treat a wide variety of hand and wrist injuries and conditions. Our hand doctors will always exhaust all conservative treatment options before suggesting surgery; however, there are some situations in which hand surgery is the best option to help eliminate pain and restore function. If hand surgery is recommended, our surgeons have vast experience in performing many surgical procedures, including microvascular hand surgery, reconstructive hand and wrist surgery, and carpal tunnel release.
To help facilitate a full and rapid recovery, our hand doctors and surgeons take a team approach when it comes to patient-centered care, and they work in conjunction with our hand therapists, who offer specialized therapy services. Our ultimate goal is to provide an effective rehabilitation plan that is focused on your individual needs to help you resume a pain-free lifestyle.
